An Event Apart is coming to Washington, D.C. this summer, September 16th and 17th! It’s an amazing conference with some of the most inspirational, creative and brilliant minds in the industry. We’ve been proponents of having An Event Apart come to D.C. and now that it’s here, we’re proud to be a sponsor.

Washington, D.C., the nation’s capital, is not just home to the White House and our own studio; but rather to some of the most passionate and talented people and organizations working on the web. Organizations such as USA Today, Discovery, BET, National Geographic, Marriott, AOL, Geico, American Red Cross, Nasdaq.com, Gannett, NPR, PBS, Capital One, Enterprise, Sprint.com, XM and start-ups including Mixx.com, Summize, Clearspring and LivingSocial; to name just a few.
The community here in D.C. is undoubtedly unique, full of energy, creativity and an entrepreneurial spirit that can transform ideas into magic. An Event Apart is coming to D.C., and it’s a conference with a line-up of speakers not worth missing. “Join Us For Two Days Of Design, Code, And Content”, we’ll be there and hope to see all of you as well!
As some of you may or may not know, the nclud studio is located just one block from the conference at The Washington Hilton. While some of us will be at the conference, all are welcome to swing by the studio to check it out and meet the team! We'll be sure to keep plenty of food and beer on hand that week.

AEA has no clue what they signed up for. Can we get you to agree to a BeerCamp right now, on record? Or are we going to have to break out tables and ping pong balls at the big event (likely hosted by Media Temple per usual) the classy way?

Tim,
HA HA. We don’t want to conflict with the official events that AEA will be holding, including the ever infamous Media Temple closing party. But, we might be inclined to have a summer BeerCamp that Saturday the 18th.
It’s important to note that the nclud studio is literally ONE BLOCK from the hotel where the conference is being held; there is a lot of opportunity :-)

I did notice the proximity to your lovely headquarters. I have faith that there will be, at minimum, one after party at your place. Can’t wait!
Enjoy SXSW and your BeerCamp!
